The Grip Strap™ is a hand held strap that contours around smooth cylindrical or irregular shaped objects. If you are working with any object that requires hand tightening or loosening (eg. tap bonnets, conduits, lids, knuckles, etc) the grip strap will make it easier to work with. It is especially useful for objects that have 'fused' shut, such as calcified threads on tap bonnets or hardened solvent lids. It is an all-purpose Friction Strap that will quickly become an indispensable part of the toolbox.

Grip and Torque - the two things needed to successfully loosen tightly closed objects. A firm grip coupled with turning force is the basis for most 'fastening & turning' tools such as spanners, pliers, wrenches, pipe straps and stilsons. However for items that are meant to be Hand-tight only many of these tools are not approriate to use.

The Grip Strap utilises firm ribs which provides compression points increasing friction force and therefore a greater grip. The raised ribs provides greater torque making it easier to turn difficult-to-open objects. The Grip Strap makes it an ideal tool to fasten and loosen items that are meant to be hand-tight only, and is suitable for irregular shaped objects. It is especially great for polished surfaces as it will not scratch.

How to use the Grip Strap TOOL

The Grip Strap™ fits comfortably between the index finger, purlicue and thumb to form a natural curve. The raised ribs provide compression points that increase the friction grip when you are holding smooth surfaces, even including materials such as polished chrome. The ribs also increases torque, making it easier for you to loosen or tighten threaded items. The Grip Strap ™ is made from Urethane rubber and is UV stabilised, providing long lasting use.
